Louis, Fernand and Marcel Renault: these are the three brothers standing behind the French automobile manufacturer. They called 1899 the company officially launched, but the impetus was the Christmas Eve 1898 as Louis Renault built his own motor car, Voiturette ( in German: little car ), friends and passers-by vorführte.
