Peugeot

The brothers Jean -Frédéric and Jean -Pierre Peugeot in 1810 founded an iron foundry. The lion as a brand logo for Peugeot products came in 1858 to do so. 1881 increased the French in the bicycle industry, and in 1889 a steam-powered tricycle car was presented. Today, the French heritage brand, along with Citroën part of the PSA Group. The company is based in Paris and the main plant in Sochaux. The German branch of Peugeot was founded in 1967 and is located in Saarbrücken.
