The Romanian manufacturer Dacia cars built since 1968 and since 1998 a part of the French- Japanese brand Renault-Nissan Alliance. Origin is the Romanian carmaker UAP, who was based in Pitesti. Already the first cars were manufactured under license from Renault models. Today's company is based in Bucharest. The company in Western Europe with cheap prices became famous. These start at under 7,000 euros. The Dacia Duster SUV starts at 11,990 euros.
