Chevrolet Corvette

For Americans, the Chevrolet Corvette is what is for Italian or German sports car fan, a Ferrari or Porsche 911: the ultimate driving machine. The current sixth generation Chevrolet Corvette C6 is, and has been produced since 2005. Under the long hood works in the models Coupé, Convertible and Grand Sport a 430-hp V8 with 6.2 liters displacement. In the Z06 the Haubraum grows to seven liters and power 512 hp. The top model is the ZR1 with 647 hp. At the Detroit Auto Show 2013, the next generation C7 is presented. The market launch is planned for 2014.
