Volvo

In 1927, Assar Gabrielsson and Gustaf Larson realized their dream of a Swedish automobile production. The first series-produced Volvo ( Latin for " I roll " ) is the open ÖV4. Particularly through innovations such as the invention of the three-point belt or the recently launched " City Safety system " that automatically detects pedestrian and the vehicle decelerates, Volvo is known for making particularly safe cars. In 1958, the first Volvo came to Germany. Since early 2010, the car division belongs to the Chinese car company Geely.
