Mille Miglia 2017: The winning Alfa wins the Mille Miglia

Italy has lured from May 19 to 22 again vintage fans from around the world after the Mille Miglia 2017. The winner and backgrounds to the rally!

The winners of the Mille Miglia 2017 have been selected. As in the previous year the 1600 km of track laid back also at the 90th Edition by Brescia in Norditalen in the capital Rome and back in four days. It no longer is on the speed: after it was at the Mille Miglia, which since the year 1927 as road race was held, with eleven dead came in 1957 to an accident, the rally set up twenty years later with a new concept. Now the winners need to precisely control various measuring points on the route as possible on hundredths of a second. Total 112 measurements take place on the track, to be achieved as far as possible uniform ride. The Mille Miglia 2017 recorded 450 participants, where it was most probably not on the victory, but the finishing in Brescia. However, not only at the destination, but anywhere on the line waiting for viewers and cheered their classic BMW 328 to Porsche 356 and the participants.

A special end 2017 of course was the Mille Miglia for the winner. Andrea Vesco and Andrea Guerini in the Alfa Romeo 6 C 1750 Gran took first place sports (start number 74) in 1931. The winners were a deviation from the ideal time of just 3.93 seconds. This is the eleventh victory in the Mille Miglia, which the Italians are the most successful brand of the race for Alfa Romeo. Second winner was Luca patron and Massimo Casale in the O.M.. 665 sports superba 2000, who also rode on the Mille Miglia on March 27, 1927, to victory. Place three lands again an Alfa, the 6C 1500 GS Zagato with Giordano Mozzi and Stefania Biacca at the wheel.
