On 9 May 1950 was founded the Sociedad Española de Barcelona car Móviles de Turismo SA, short Seat. 1953 leaves the first seat the production halls in the capital of Catalonia. Since 1990, the Spanish automaker is part of the Volkswagen Group. Today Seat covers the segments of compact cars, mid and vans.
