Nico Rosberg: Withdrawal from Formula 1

A World Championship is enough: Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has announced his retirement from Formula 1 and wants to spend more time with the family in the future.

A few days ago celebrated Nico Rosberg in Abu Dhabi his first formula 1 World Championship and so the biggest success of his career. Such a triumph in his view can be hardly still topped why Nico Rosberg has now unexpectedly announced his resignation: his previously emotionalstes race was also his last in the elite class of motor sport! On his private Facebook page, the native Wiesbaden announced that he could fulfill his greatest dream after 25 years in Motorsport and has thus found the optimum moment to withdraw from F1. The decision at the end of the career is apparently already matured: Rosberg knew that he has the output of the World Cup in their own hands - already after his victory at Suzuka in early October and began to think about, to make his first World Championship to the final point of his formula 1 career. In the last race, Nico Rosberg withstood all mind games of his rival Lewis Hamilton, brought by the winning streak of his teammates from the rest and ran the season in the style of a champion to end.
