Which car brands have had trouble in 2016 the most satisfied customers, and there it is the least roadside and in the Workshop? CAR NEWSPAPER has asked its reader – and more than 12,500 have reported their experiences. The result: Honda-driver and your car very happy.

Who really wants to know, what good is a car, ask someone who drives like a model every day. This is exactly what makes the CAR NEWSPAPER every year. And so we have asked also in 2016, our readers, to us your experiences with your vehicles. More than 12,500 have sent the completed questionnaires back, or answered online – the most important results you find on these two double pages. In order to get comparable and up-to-date results, we have evaluated, information is available only to cars of model years 2011 to 2016. In addition, only trademarks have been taken into account to achieve a sufficient number of responses existed, to achieve a representative result. Brands such as Tesla, Subaru, or Maserati are therefore not shown here.

The answers of our readers on three issues played in this quality report a special role: the satisfaction with the car as well as both of the breakdowns and repairs. From this we calculated the quality index for the 20 relevant brands – the result is the graph on the previous double page: Honda, Toyota and Mazda are the first three places, Opel, Peugeot and Renault in the Final form. Since we have changed the question this time is easy, the results are not with those from the previous years comparable. The BMW's subsidiary Mini, has satisfied with 96.4 per cent, or even very satisfied drivers are the happiest customers. Perhaps this can be explained by the fact that none of the respondents to the Mini-driver had been a glitch. For comparison: the Volvo drivers can specify only 88.3 percent.
