Lada

Lada is brand name of the largest Russian manufacturer of passenger cars in Russia and Eastern Europe, AvtoVAZ. In 1966, the car factory was built in collaboration with Fiat in Togliatti. Several automakers already cooperated with the company. Since 2008 Lada is 25 percent owned by the Renault -Nissan Group. The German branch Lada Automobile GmbH is based in Buxtehude. In addition to quality and safety defects, Lada also has to contend with competition from Dacia.
