Citroën

At the age of 24 years the young French entrepreneur André Citroën founded a gear factory, which has been converted after the first world war in 1919 in an automobile factory. For the production, he used his knowledge from the Ford production lines, which had Citroën appropriated in several trips to the USA. His goal was to make the technical novelty automotive mainstream.
